About Thuy
Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here. Seeking support is a huge deal and can be confusing, and I am honored to be potentially part of your journey. Rooted in anti-oppressive and trauma-informed counseling, I provide a safe, accepting, and playful environment where my clients can connect, heal, and liberate.
My experiences as a queer, trans-nonbinary, neurodivergent, and first-generation Vietnamese immigrant are integral to my practice. Being who I am, I cannot leave my identities at the door, and I invite you to follow suit. Because my work centers the therapeutic relationship, I want you to come as you are and bring only what you wish to share.
I’ve focused my practice on individuals, youths, and families. Within my experience, I tend to be especially skilled in supporting clients navigating neurodivergence, complicated cultural identities, gender and/or sexual identities, and systemic oppression.
Outside of therapy, I am often found climbing, creating art, and playing tabletop roleplaying games with my friends. I dislike itchy fabric, and I am distrustful of dolphins.
Existing is weird, so let's be weird together.
