About Hannah
Hi, I'm Hannah (she/her), an Oregon Professional Counselor Associate and Provisional
Art Therapist. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and caregivers navigating
grief, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, school struggles, life transitions, acute and chronic
illness, neurodivergence, and identity development. I have a background in visual arts as well as
a Masters in Education. Before becoming a therapist I spent eight years teaching art and coding
to children and teens. My clinical experience includes providing therapy in a pediatric hospital,
cancer healing program, and community mental health, where I've supported children,
adolescents, and caregivers through both medical and mental health challenges. These
experiences continue to shape my creative, developmentally responsive, trauma-informed
approach to therapy.
I am LGBTQ+ knowledgeable and affirming, and my work is grounded in social justice, cultural
humility, and racial equity. I draw from narrative, solution-focused, existential and
neurobiologically informed trauma theory in my work. I mainly utilize art therapy while
integrating play, mindfulness, and traditional talk therapy.
In my work, I seek to center the values of creativity, imagination, genuineness, kindness,
wisdom, empathy, curiosity, thoughtfulness, joy, and community. I strive to create a space where
clients feel genuinely seen and supported in exploring their experiences with curiosity and
compassion. Together, we work to better understand life's experiences, build on existing
strengths, and create tools that support growth beyond our time together.
