About Rose
I am a Neurodivergent Therapist who has spent years healing from my own complex and relational trauma. As someone who has been both failed and supported by the system, I feel adept at managing the complexity and nuance of healing in a chaotic world. I am very passionate about providing specialized trauma informed care to Neurodivergent folks (self-diagnosed, formally diagnosed, or curious). Often, my clients hold multiple intersections of identity and I enjoy being able to support them from a relational and systems framework. I engage in continuous ongoing education around my special interests and recurrent issues that my clients are facing. Healing relational wounding and building capacity for healthy relationships is at the heart of my work.
My communication style is direct, open, and humorous when appropriate. (Yes, we will laugh together in session). I place high value on authenticity and accountability from my clients and myself. While my approach to counseling is best described as holistic and eclectic I regularly draw from the following modalities: Compassion Focused, Somatic, Creative & Play Therapy, Feminist, DBT, IFS, and Attachment Theory. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every client. My approach to treatment will always take the whole person into account, not just the diagnosis. I believe that therapy is a dynamic space where we can be creative and have some fun as well.
